MADE FOR THE BOARD YOU SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY ON
If you have gone to the trouble of buying a mechanical keyboard, finishing it with a plastic wrist rest is an odd place to stop. Birk is proportioned for a mechanical board's extra height, so the support lands where your palm actually rests rather than below it. The wood is sealed but not glossy, so it does not get slick under a warm hand during a long session. It is the piece that makes a nice keyboard look like a complete object.
WHY THIS EARNS ITS PLACE ON YOUR DESK
- Matches the height of a mechanical board — so your palm is supported level with the keys, not below them.
- Seals the surface without gloss — which keeps it from turning slick under a warm hand mid-session.
- Comes in tenkeyless and full-size — so the bar ends exactly where your keyboard does.
- Grips on a continuous base strip — rather than four small pads that let one corner lift.
- Weighs enough to stay put — solid wood rather than a hollow shell that slides on contact.
