RAISE THE SCREEN. DROP THE SHOULDERS. RECLAIM THE DESK UNDERNEATH.
Most people spend eight hours a day looking fractionally downward, and the neck ache that follows is entirely avoidable. Halden lifts your display to true eye level on a warm hardwood plank held by two slim blackened steel legs, and the gap it opens underneath swallows a keyboard, a notebook and the clutter that used to live in front of the screen. It reads as furniture rather than an accessory, which matters when your desk sits in a living room instead of an office. The first time you clear the space beneath it, the whole setup starts to feel deliberate.
WHY THIS EARNS ITS PLACE ON YOUR DESK
- Spans a single-piece hardwood plank — so there is no mid-span flex under a 27-inch display and no creak when you lean on the desk.
- Carries up to 30kg across the deck — which covers a large monitor, a speaker pair and a stack of books without complaint.
- Shrugs off mugs and pen marks — thanks to a sealed hand-rubbed finish that wipes clean instead of staining.
- Opens a full keyboard bay underneath — so the board, the trackpad and the daily paper pile slide out of sight the moment you stand up.
- Lands assembled in under five minutes — with four captive bolts, a folded hex key and legs that index into pre-cut recesses.
