ALL OF THE FUNCTION, NONE OF THE FURNITURE
Ulva is for the desk where even a headphone stand is one object too many. A single piece of walnut cantilevers off a narrow foot, holding the headphones in the air with almost nothing underneath them. It takes up a fraction of the footprint of a conventional stand and reads as a small sculpture when the headphones are elsewhere. On a minimal desk this is the version that does not break the spell.
WHY THIS EARNS ITS PLACE ON YOUR DESK
- Cantilevers from a single piece of walnut — so there is no visible joint and nothing to work loose over time.
- Occupies a fraction of a normal footprint — which matters when the desk is already down to its last clear corner.
- Holds the headphones clear of the surface — so the pads stay out of dust and spills.
- Looks intentional when empty — reading as a small object rather than an abandoned bracket.
- Arrives in one piece — no assembly, no hardware, nothing to lose.
