WARM ON TOP, ENGINEERED UNDERNEATH
Eik puts a warm wood deck on slim powder-coated steel legs, which is the combination that lets a riser look light without being flimsy. The steel does the structural work, so the deck can stay thin and the whole thing reads as a line rather than a block. Underneath, the leg spacing is wide enough that a full-size keyboard and a mouse both park there. On a desk that is already crowded, the visual weight you save is worth as much as the space.
WHY IT EARNS ITS PLACE ON YOUR DESK
- Carries the load on steel, not timber — so the deck can stay slim and visually light while still holding a 27-inch panel dead level.
- Resists rocking on uneven desks — with four powder-coated legs that sit flat on a slightly cupped or seasoned wooden top.
- Clears space for keyboard and mouse together — thanks to a leg span wider than the deck itself rather than a boxed-in cavity.
- Shrugs off scuffs at the contact points — because powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so trolley bags and chair arms do not mark it.
- Goes together in three minutes — with four bolts and the hex key in the box.
